1. I applied for my ARC, understanding how important it is. 2. The term “service” has helped me a lot when I have to ask locals for help. 3. Understanding that Koreans like to spend an extended amount of time they view as friends, helped the first time I hung out with a Korean Friend. 4 I translate almost everything to Korean before I search on Naver, much better results. 5. Learning how to find and share my current location on naver has helped me get back to my car. I cant save places in the app without my ARC, so this tip helps a ton!

The instructors were a wealth of knowledge but didn’t pretend to know everything. They used their own life experiences to help explain different things. One of the instructors having family in the area gave her a specific insight on the culture that could not be obtained by a foreigner without said connections.

The Pyeongtaek International Exchange Foundation (PIEF) helps people from different countries learn about each other. The foundation offers programs like integration or language classes, cultural festivals, and exchange programs. They help people understand different cultures and make new friends. The foundation's goal is to build a friendly and global community.

The PIEF organization, with funding from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Pyeongtaek City, created the Pyeongtaek Living 101 Courses for International Residents living in Pyeongtaek.
